What a week it's been for the Kranjcar family!
Our midfielder Niko has scored three goals in two internationals for Croatia while father Zlatko has masterminded Montenegro's rise to the top of England's Euro 2012 qualifying group.
Kranjcar Jnr followed on from his two goals in Israel on Friday night by scoring the winner in his country's 2-1 friendly win over Norway in Zagreb on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Peter Crouch and co were being left frustrated at Wembley as Zlatko's side held England to a 0-0 draw in Euro qualifying Group G.
‘Crouchy' was winning his 41st Three Lions cap, starting alongside Wayne Rooney up front, but was able to muster little against the resolute group minnows in his 69 minutes on the pitch before being replaced by debutant Kevin Davies.
Also in Group G, Gareth Bale got on the scoresheet with his third goal for Wales to make it 1-1 in Switzerland before the home side eventually ran out 4-1 winners in Basle, leaving the Welsh rooted to the bottom of the table having lost all three games so far.
There was a great chance for Robbie Keane to become the third Spurs goalscorer on the night for the Republic of Ireland in Slovakia in Group B.
But the striker squandered the opportunity to win it for his side from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time with the scores at 1-1 as they stayed.
However, it was a successful night for Rafael van der Vaart who played the full 90 minutes for Holland in their 4-1 crushing of Sweden in Amsterdam in Group E - although the midfielder did not get on the scoresheet for a change!
Rafa did, however, set up the opener for Klaas Jan Huntelaar in that game as Bert van Marwijk's side take control of that group.
