France won the game 1-0 thanks to Paul Pogba's first half strike but despite looking in control for much of procedings, held onto that lead thanks to a typical reaction save from skipper Hugo in the final minute.
Hugo had little to do but had to be at his best when Vincent nodded down for Memphis Depay to swivel and strike at goal from close range - Hugo palmed the ball away and grabbed the rebound.

It was a tough night for Vincent spearheading the Dutch attack but he certainly kept France's central pair of Koscielny and Varane occupied. His main sight of goal came in the second half when he rolled away from Verane before firing into the side-netting from a tight angle.
France now top Group A of the UEFA qualifying process for the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia. They are level on points with Sweden with Holland down to the third. Only the group winners qualify directly for Russia.
