Mike found out about volunteering for the charity, which offers care and support to children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families, during a half-time speech at last year’s North London derby.
He now makes regular visits to a family home and helps give 10-year-old Calitha the care and attention she needs, while her seriously ill twin sister gets treatment. Mike not only makes a huge difference to family life but also finds the experience extremely rewarding.
