Scans have revealed Roman Pavlyuchenko has suffered a partially torn ankle ligament.

The Russian forward was forced off with the injury during Sunday's home match against Hull City.

Roman will now undergo further treatment on the ankle after specialists declared him unfit to play for the next three weeks.

Meanwhile, Aaron Lennon has been forced to pull out of England's Under-21 squad due to a knee problem.
