Injury update

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Les Ferdinand will almost certainly miss out for the trip to Everton after sustaining a knee injury during Saturday’s opener against Villa at the Lane.

Teddy Sheringham has an outside chance of playing, but is unlikely to be risked, which would see him absent along with Oyvind Leonhardsen, Stephen Carr, Tim Sherwood, Ben Thatcher and Chris Armstrong.

Mauricio Taricco is expected to be fit after suffering from cramp, while Darren Anderton is likely to continue with his gradual return from the bench.

Everton manager Walter Smith is set to name an unchanged side from the one which won 2-1 at Charlton on the opening day of the season.

Summer signing Tomasz Radzinski has recovered from a hamstring problem, but is unlikely to break up the partnership of Kevin Campbell and Duncan Ferguson, which was so effective on Saturday.

Radzinski will have to settle for a place on the bench, and could be joined by defender Gary Naysmith, who is fit again after a thigh injury.
