Martin Jol reported that Teemu Tainio picked up an ankle injury and Aaron Lennon a dead leg in Sunday's win against Charlton.

Midfielder Teemu unfortunately took an early knock on the ankle that he injured against Aston Villa and had ruled him out of the Fulham game in midweek. He was replaced by Tom Huddlestone after only 25 minutes.

Winger Aaron looked on song again but suffered a dead leg in the first half and was replaced by Johnnie Jackson at half-time.

"Aaron couldn't play on," said Martin. "He did well on the right but when we lost Teemu we had to shift him over to the left but he still did well, he's such a threat and can be a big player for us.

"I was happy to play Teemu. He is a great team player and if Edgar is not there maybe sometimes we lack a bit of bite and we need that in the midfield. He had to come off because he got a kick at the first corner in the first half."

Both players will be assessed further by our medical team on Monday.
