Injuries a concern

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Injuries are causing some concern for Jacques Santini with the Premiership kick-off just five days away.

Robbie Keane, Stepen Kelly (both ankle) and Simon Davies (shin) all face another two to three weeks on the sidelines.

Head Coach Jacques revealed that Stephen Carr and Anthony Gardner missed Saturday's friendly against Cagliari through injury and that Ledley King and Mauricio Taricco picked up knocks during the game.

"We have many, many injured players," said Jacques. "Just before this game Stephen Carr, Anthony Gardner and during the second half, Mauricio Taricco and Ledley King.

"Ledley's problem is Achilles, Mauricio hamstring, Stephen Carr back and Anthony Gardner ankle. It has been a problem for Anthony since the start of pre-season, he didn't train in Sweden either and it's a problem for next week.

"We already have Simon Davies and Robbie Keane out and it is already diffcult but I think my team will give a good performance against Liverpool because we know how important that is."
