The UEFA Cup looks as strong as ever as we prepare to step back into the competition against Wisla Krakow on Thursday night.

The UEFA Cup looks as strong as ever as we prepare to step back into the competition against Wisla Krakow on Thursday night.

The 80 sides competing in this week's first round boast 17 European Cups, 11 UEFA Cups and 11 Cup Winners' Cups between them.

The line-up includes the likes of AC Milan, Ajax, CSKA Moscow, Galatasaray, Napoli, Schalke 04, Valencia, Feyenoord, Borussia Dortmund, Benfica and Sevilla.

We are one of five Premier League clubs in the competition alongside Aston Villa, Manchester City, Everton and Portsmouth.

The 40 winners of first round ties will go into the group stages with eight groups of five teams. The top three teams from each group will progress to the Round of 32 alongside teams finishing third in their Champions League group.
