Phil Ifil was pleased with a point after facing 30 minutes with 10 men in our reserve draw against Chelsea at Aldershot.
We actually looked the more likely team to score at the start of the second half before Rodrigo Defendi was sent off. That meant a reshuffle with 10 men and Phil played his part in a fine defensive display as we kept Chelsea at bay.
Full-back Phil, soon off on England U19 duty, reflected: "We started so well in the second half but then we had Rodrigo sent off and completely changed things. It was a reall battle to the end but we got a point and we were happy with that.
"We could have nicked it right at the end but they had the pressure and we had to defend well.
"It's going well with the reserves. We were flying before Christmas but there are always changes - that's how reserve football is. Everyone wants to take their chance and it drives us on. Hopefully we'll finish the season well."
