Are you excited by the challenge of playing in the Premier League?

Vlad: "I watch the Premier League all the time and I hoped one day I would play for a team in the Premier League. This dream now came true."

What do you know about Spurs?

Vlad: "The team plays very good football. I saw them (play) in Premier League and the Europa League too, and the team has had so many good games."

Do you like our style of attacking football?

Vlad: "I love it. This is my type of football."

What do you make of the squad here?

Vlad: "The club has bought a lot of good players and I hope we will be a very good team."

How do you feel about playing in the Premier League?

Vlad: "I hope I grow (build)  my level and I will do my best here. I hope I can do this."

You are not the first Romanian here at Spurs, in recent history, we've had Gica Popescu and Ilie Dumitrescu, some famous names.

Vlad: "Yes, they were very good players, I spoke with them before I came here and they told me it’s a big, big club with a big history and it (this move) will be something incredible for me."

They were part of the squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 1994 World Cup.

Vlad: "Yes, they were the golden generation for us and everyone who came after has tried to be like them."

Finally, what are your hopes for season?

Vlad: "I hope to have opportunities to play and to play well."
