Ian suffered a brain haemorrhage and was rushed to hospital in Nottingham before being subsequently transferred closer to home to continue his rehabilitation at Queens Hospital in Romford.
During this time, with the support of family, friends and fellow supporters, as well as voice messages from first team players and a ‘get well soon’ letter from Mauricio Pochettino, we are delighted to say that Ian is on his way to making a full recovery, even listening to our recent matches on the radio.
His wife, Sherry, said: “A big part of Ian's recovery has been being able to listen to matches and have visits from his football mates. The messages from the members of the squad and the letter from Mauricio were a great boost. Thank you to everyone for their help and support.”
