Confession from Martin Dunn
I’ve supported Spurs all my life, but my son is a mad Arsenal fan and it has cost me a fortune on Arsenal kits and it bloody hurts everytime. P.S. My other 2 are Spurs (yes).
In the season of 1999-2000 when Tottenham played Arsenal, I sort of wanted Arsenal to win because it was very close at the top of the Premership and I did not want Manchester United to regain the Premership. I feel very guilty for this and I hope you other beloved Spurs fans will forgive me. I will never forgive myself!
I was a Liverpool fan! The horror! But it’s ok, because for the last 10 years I’ve been a loyal Spurs fan and been with ‘em through thick and thin!
Instead of going to the last game of the season at home to Man U, I was invited to play in a charity tournament at... of all places, Highbury. To get knocked out early on and then to find out we thrashed Man U, only made me feel even worse.
My father and I got two free tickets to the A***** for a midweek European competition game against a Russian team. I'm not sure, but I think Lee Chapman made his debut or was new - anyway the Gooners lost 5 — 0, a wonderful game to watch.....hee hee.
I confess, I supported ManureNited for quite some period of time. I hang my head in shame.
