I used to sell programmes at Spurs and Arsenal, but when ever Spurs played Arsenal at Highbury I used to phone in sick, then get there early and show my pass to the stewards as if I was working. The gates were not open for another hour, so i had to go to the clock end toilets and hide in the cubicle until the gates opened and then I could sneak out and stand in the clock end.
My Grandpa - God Bless his soul...
Many MANY moons ago when he was a lad (probably in 1920s/30s) he used to jump the Gates (or try) into the ground. Once he was caught by a policeman, who waited for him on the inside of the ground, and merely told him to go back the way he came. Which he did.
And as a personal confession, I have a friend who is an arsenal fan.
I am only young but I have had the terrible time of my life when Spurs lost in the FA cup semis. I had to wear my friend's arsenal kit - I beg for forgiveness, I am SOOOOOOOOOO SORRY
