I met my partner nearly 5 years ago, everything was going really well until I found out that he was a gooner!! you can imagine my horror. Well we got hitched September last year and as our best man (a Spurs man) stated he was sure that we would be very happy together... apart from two Saturdays a season!! Our wedding invitations were even characatures of me in my dress with a Spurs shirt on, him in his suit with his A.....L shirt on pulling each other in different directions. My arrow was towards the Lane his was towards highbury and the other arrow was towards the church - quite amusing. Well good luck to Lorraine in your marriage to the Gooner it does work really but not on match day!
Having proudly used my Tottenham Hotspur card at the Tesco petrol station in Southend, the girl at the checkout expressed her admiration for the Spurs and commented that she had recently seen an A*%&^^ one and had wanted to reject it. I told her (with a straight face) that she should not have accepted it as they are not valid anyway. She looked mortified and the next time an A*&*&&& fan goes in there...
I cannot say how sorry I am!! I am only 14 but am 110% Spurs! My mate offered me up to the LEEDS v A*****l and I accepted because I thought it would be a laugh to see them lose, but they won and I couldn't believe it!! I know cannot take the mickey out of Arsenal because if my mate finds out then it will be a good story to tell for all the other Spurs kids at school about me going to a gooner match.
