Hungry Lee

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Clive Allen believes Lee Barnard will look to make up for lost time as he returns to action this evening.

The young striker looked in fine form before breaking his collar bone in a friendly against FC Trollhattan in Sweden.

Six weeks later and the 20-year-old is fit and raring to go again - starting tonight against West Ham in the FA Premier Reserve League clash at Stevenage Borough, 7pm.

Development coach Clive felt some sympathy for him. "It's been difficult for Lee," said Clive. "He picked up a nasty injury in pre-season having worked really hard but now he's confident he's ready to play, so that's a bonus for us.

"He was having a great pre-season until that injury but he's had a frustrating time of it because he's been able to run around but not been able to get involved in too much physical contact.

"The good thing is that he's fit and well, mentally he's strong and he can't wait to get back."
