The year starts with a bang and three games in five days starting with a trip to Swansea in the Premier League on Tuesday (7.45pm). We then take on West Ham in the PL at Wembley on Thursday (8pm) before kicking-off our FA Cup campaign against AFC Wimbledon back at Wembley on Sunday (3pm).
We travel to the Liberty Stadium on the back of four wins in five.
“I feel very positive,” said the skipper.
“This team has character. We’ve showed it already in the past and we are showing it at the moment.
“We are looking forward first to Swansea and then West Ham. The important thing now is to keep on winning and to keep the confidence high inside our minds.
“It was so important to continue our momentum against Southampton (a 5-2 win on Boxing Day) after playing so well at Burnley (a 3-0 win on December 23).
“It was a great performance against Southampton for the first 60 minutes, really high quality, so congratulations to the team and one more congratulations to Harry Kane, it was a fantastic year for him.
“Now we have to be ready to start again with a busy week but as I said, we’re confident and looking forward to it.”
