We take on Sunderland in our opening match at the impressive Hong Kong National Stadium on Wednesday, July 24 and will then face either Manchester City or local team and our club partners South China FC on Saturday, July 27.
“It will be my first experience of Asia,” said the French internatonal captain. “I’m very excited to discover Hong Kong.
“Maybe it’s a little different from the European mentality and interesting to find out about it.
“In Asia, they love football and the Premier League, so it’s a good opportunity for us.
“Also, to play against Manchester City and Sunderland is good. We will all be in the same physical condition and this is an opportunity to play good games.
“Also, it’s a trophy, so when you play a competition, you want to win!”
