We have to be strong - Hugo

Mentality is key for skipper Hugo Lloris as we head into the final five matches of a thrilling Premier League campaign at Stoke on Monday night.

We remain seven points adrift of Leicester City - who face West Ham at home on Sunday - after our fine 3-0 win against Manchester United at the Lane.

Hugo complimented the team’s ‘strong mind’ for the display against United, not least as it came immediately after the Foxes won at Sunderland.

Our first home win against United since 2001 strengthened our standing as scoring most goals (60 in 33 games) and conceding fewest (25) in the Premier League but Hugo and the team know they have to do it all over again at the Britannia Stadium (8pm).

“Stoke have changed the way they play football and I think this will be a great game to play in and to enjoy,” he said. “I know there will be a lot of Spurs fans there as always and once again, we need to be strong. At this moment, it’s all about mentality and we’re excited about these last five games.”
