Hugo played his part with a couple of early saves as the Canaries started well but once we clicked into gear and went ahead through Harry Kane’s penalty on 26 minutes, there only looked one winner.
Harry added the second before the break and Tom Carroll lashed home his first Premier League goal to wrap it up 10 minutes from time.
“It was a perfect day for me and I want to thank my team-mates and all the fans for this day,” said Hugo.
“It’s never easy when you leave your children and your wife at home and it’s your birthday!
“It was a great game and I’m really happy with the performance first and the result. We’re in a good way and now we need to rest because Monday (at Watford) will be tough.”

Hugo felt there were similarities between last week’s display and 2-0 win at St Mary’s.
“It was a bit like at Southampton,” he said. “In the first 15, 20 minutes we were a little sloppy, we didn’t create a lot of space. We worked on it tactically but in the first 20 minutes we couldn’t set up on the pitch.
“But after that, we got confidence in the match, we put our game together and were rewarded with the penalty, got ahead and that made it easier.”
