Chris Hughton gives his views on Saturday's opponents Charlton after watching the Addicks take on Middlesbrough last weekend.
Alan Curbishley's men lost that game 2-1 at the Valley and are currently on a run of five games without defeat as they arrive at the Lane.
Coach Chris reported: "Charlton are another side that have found it a little difficult to kick-start their season.
"They went 1-0 down against Middlesbrough in the first half but once they got back into it you thought they might go on to win the game.
"It was fairly tight and it wasn't as if Charlton played that poorly but I'm sure they will be worried with that at home.
"I think by their standards what has changed whether it's because of injuries or new players coming in is they've chopped and changed a fair amount, especially in midfield.
"It's still very much a 4-4-2 with Jerome Thomas coming in down the left against Boro, he did quite well, Bartlett and Johanssen up front and they've played plenty of times together. Jason Euell is an attacking midfielder who has done well against us in the past and is being used well in that role. So generally it's a 4-4-2 but they've changed around a bit.
"You never know how things are going to go when you bring in three or four new players. They will either gel and start well together or it will take time and they'll probably think it will take time. There is no doubt they are good players and they will come good for them.
"Charlton have had seasons like this before where they've possbily they haven't started so well and then the normal Charlton spirit and quality comes through and I would expect them to improve."
