Chris Hughton takes a close look at the promoted teams we'll face next season in this Hughton's Notes special - next up, runners-up Sheffield United...

The Blades stayed in touch with Reading for most of the season but a minor blip in February and March where they won just one game in eight looked like it might threaten their runners-up spot and automatic promotion before seven matches unbeaten in the final stretch saw them comfortably home.

Here are Chris's thoughts on the men from Bramall Lane…

"I’m delighted for them. They have been there or thereabouts for the last few years and they’ve had their disappointments but they always looked like they would make it this time.

"They were desperate to get promotion and I just think in this day and age to have a manager like Neil Warnock who is in charge of his home club and has always been a massive fan, to guide that team to promotion in the Premiership is a real nice touch.

"They have certainly worked hard enough to get into the Premiership and I’m sure they will look forward to every minute of it."
