Hughton's notes

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Chris Hughton offers his regular assessment of our forthcoming opponents - next up, Middlesbrough on Saturday.

MIDDLESBROUGH will be a difficult side to beat at the Riverside. They have experienced players all over the park, quality young players and a few more youngsters that have had opportunities to push through.

They have experience like Parlour and Hasselbaink, who you wouldn't regard as an older players but they have been around for a little while. That experience continues at the back with Ehiogu and Southgate. Ehiogu was out for a while but to have his experience back at this stage will help them.

The fact they are capable of scoring four goals against West Brom, one of the form teams of the division in terms of results and the way they are playing, shows they have plenty of firepower. Nemeth, who has possibly not played the amount of games he would have liked, he come in and scored valuable goals. We've always thought he was a good player. With Hasselbaink, you know you only have to give him one opportunity and he'll score. They are good across midfield and have Zenden back, he was injured for a while so that's a big one for them.
