WE'VE SEEN plenty of Getafe since the draw for the group stages of the UEFA Cup and they've certainly showed enough quality to see why they are in the competition.
They are a good footballing side, well organised, can keep hold of the ball and can vary their strikeforce.
In most of the games we've looked at they've played in some form of 4-4-1-1, generally one player playing off the front and they can vary that with wide men who can play on either flank.
Centrally, one player some might know is Celestini, the Swiss international. The back four hasn't changed much with Licht at left-back, centrally Diaz and Belenguer and Cortes at right-back.
Back in midfield, Casquero is central and then it's the players who can switch flanks. One quality player is Hernadez, who plays 24, a right-sided player who can play on the left. Nacho is on the left, Sousa can play either side and they vary it up front. Del Moral, who's known as Nano and wears 14, can play up top with Uche behind him or vice-versa.
There are certain similarities between us and Getafe and I don't doubt they are better than their position in La Liga shows at the moment, like us. It's another European night at the Lane and one we're all looking forward to.
Chris Hughton familiarises us with some of the names that will be on show when we take on Getafe in the UEFA Cup at the Lane tonight.
