Hughton on Celtic test

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Chris Hughton is looking forward to our final pre-season contest on what he describes as a fantastic stage at Celtic Park.

We return to Glasgow to take on Celtic in an game that was originally due to take place on Monday, but has been delayed for 24 hours due to the home side's SPL opener being selected for live television coverage on Sunday.

"It is quality opposition for us," previewed Chris. "It is a game that was organised for us some time ago, then their opening game was pushed back to the Sunday and this one now takes place on Tuesday.

"It is a high profile friendly game and I am sure they will have a very big crowd there."

Chris admits that, due to a few injury concerns ahead of our own opener on Saturday, Jacques Santini will aim to minimise further risks with his selection.

"Not all of what be regarded as our strongest squad will be going to the game. There will be players missing and it will be an opportunity to use the squad.

"It is a fantastic stage to play on and the atmosphere will be wonderful for a real quality pre-season friendly.

"Liverpool is very much on our minds but this has to be used as a very important part of our pre-season preparation."
