Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Chris Hughton has expressed his delight over staying at the club as a key member of Jacques Santini's coaching team.

It was revealed on Wednesday that Chris will remain as an assistant coach and work began on Thursday with the return of the players for pre-season training.

"As always, I am delighted to be here again for the start of pre-season," he reflected during a time-out later in the afternoon. "There is always a nice feeling about being back and, of course, there is the new management team this time.

"It is good for the players to meet up again and it is an exciting time."

Chris linked up with Martin Jol, Hans Segers and Dominique Cuperly in Santini's now completed first team coaching staff and said he initially expects to fill in the blanks for the new boys in terms of what they can expect from the Premiership.

"I am delighted, very much so. What we have in place now is a French Head Coach and a Dutch assistant - who has spent time in England - and there is going to be an introductory period where they will have a thirst for knowledge on things that have perhaps happened before and how things work in the Premiership.

"These are experienced coaches that have come in and I wouldn't expect it to take very long for them to get very much into the swing of things.

"It is exciting times and, in any walk of life, with change you expect and hope for better things. We are hoping for success and that is why the club has gone in the direction it has.

"It is down to business now and there will be a little period of getting to know each other. I am getting to know Jacques and Martin and what their requirements are.

"Always the most important thing in my position is to support the management and that means doing whatever is right for us to train properly and, of course, put ourselves in a position to win games."
