Home sweet home

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle was delighted to be drawn at home in the quarter-finals of the Worthington Cup last night.

The boots had barely come off in the changing rooms at Craven Cottage when the draw for the last eight was made and pitted us against Bolton Wanderers at the Lane.

"All you can ask for is a home draw," was Glenn's immediate reaction. "It will be a tough one, they always are when you get to the quarter-finals and ironically enough we're playing them on Monday night, so we'll have a good look at each other."

Asked if the final was in sight, the boss added: "You can't look to a semi-final or final when you're at the quarter-final stage. This next tie comes around qucikly but we'll now concentrate on the league again and turn our minds to that when we have to."

A date for the game has yet to be arranged but it will take place in the week commencing Monday December 10.

However, our ticket office have confirmed that tickets will be available to members from 10am on Tuesday December 4 and non-members from 10am, Thursday December 6.
