Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Pat Holland declared that his team deserved their dramatic FA Youth Cup win over Nottingham Forest at the Lane on Tuesday evening.

It looked like a second half dominated by our Academy under-18 side would go unrewarded before a break by Scott Thyer led to Andy Barcham being put in on goal two minutes into stoppage time. The striker made no mistake and slotted low into the net to spark joyous scenes on the White Hart Lane pitch.

Pat was naturally pleased for the boys afterwards but insisted he takes more pleasure from them putting on a good performance - which they did - and not just the outcome of the game.

"I think the boys deserved it for their second half performance and they created chances," reflected Pat. "In the first half I felt both sides were nervous and perhaps Forest shaded it in terms of play, but we had an effort that hit the bar and one that went across goal.

"In the second half we gradually got on top and created lots of chances. It is the performance that matters at this level, it is a lot of pressure for these kids.

"Everyone wants them to do well, for the boys to shine. You've got Head Coach and Sporting Director here and that is the time you really want them to perform. If there is a performance, for me, that is the most important thing and the win is just the icing on the cake."
