FA PREMIER RESERVE LEAGUE

West Ham 1-2 Spurs

The kids have done it again!

Reserve team boss Theo Foley was delighted after his young side came from an early goal down to come out on top at Upton Park.

And the goalscoring hero came from a unlikely source - defender and skipper Ian Hillier led from the front with both goals.

Starting with six players who have played Academy football this season, we went a goal down to Jimmy Bullard's strike after 10 minutes.

It took just 13 minutes to respond as Hillier headed home Etherington's corner. The Welsh Under-21 star then capped a night to remember by driving home a free-kick for the winner in the second half.

Theo beamed: "There were a lot of young lads out there and they've all done very well but I thought Ian Hillier was outstanding, the best player out there. But they've all done exceptionally well."

Spurs Reserves: G Kelly, Consorti, Lacy (Snee, 78), Toner, Hillier, Henry, Barnard, Marney, Ferguson, McEwen, Etherington. Unused subs: Burch, Quilter, S Kelly, Vedeux.
