The “story” of our season continues at West Bromwich Albion this weekend, with Heung-Min Son looking to stretch our domestic unbeaten run into a 14th game.

We take to the pitch at the Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon with momentum behind us, having not lost a Premier League match since the opening day of the campaign.

As we head to a ground which has seen us score three goals in each of the past two seasons, Sonny admits the lads are confident of prolonging that run – but he’s taking nothing for granted ahead of what’s sure to be a stern test against Tony Pulis’ side.

“The run is unbelievable – it’s very good for us, it gives us a good mentality,” said the 23-year-old.

“Every game we play we want to continue the story. We’ll try in the next game to keep the run going.

“It won’t be easy but we want to win at West Brom – we didn’t win against Chelsea last week which meant I was disappointed but that’s football. I always want to win.”

With a busy schedule to come over the festive period, Sonny says it’s important to focus only on our clash with the Baggies for now.

“We mustn’t look at a long spell of fixtures coming up but just take it game-by-game,” he added.

“Every match is important and we have to concentrate only on West Brom now. It’s a very important game for us and we must get three points to make us stronger in the upper part of the table.”
