The Club has commissioned a unique limited-edition work of art depicting 11 all-time Tottenham Hotspur greats in a dressing room setting at White Hart Lane – our beloved former home.
Heroes of White Hart Lane pays homage to the iconic image of the great Bill Nicholson delivering a half-time team-talk that adorned the players’ tunnel wall at the Lane during its final days.
Alongside our legendary former manager, illustrious players from throughout the eras, including Steve Perryman, Ledley King, Graham Roberts, Hugo Lloris, Gary Mabbutt, Glenn Hoddle, David Ginola, Jimmy Greaves, Paul Gascoigne, Gareth Bale and Harry Kane are featured. The XI were selected by our fans in a recent poll.
Each of these players has personally signed the print, which is now available to bid for via an online auction. The auction closes at 10am on Tuesday (27 February).
Money raised will go to the Tottenham Tribute Trust (TTT) – a charity established by the Club, dedicated to serving the needs of former players. It reaches out to members of the Spurs family who are facing difficulty either financially, medically or both. Many of the greats that the charity has aided over the years were involved in some of White Hart Lane’s most memorable moments.
Jonathan Adelman, Chairman of the Trust, said: “The Tottenham Tribute Trust would like to thank the Club for both commissioning this unique item and generously donating proceeds from its sale to our charity. The winning bidder will possess a truly wonderful item of art and will have contributed to the ongoing help offered to many by the TTT.”
Heroes of White Hart Lane is an historic and valuable item of memorabilia for any Spurs fan, measuring 750x535mm on hand-torn fine art paper with an embossed provenance stamp and gold leaf finishing.
The print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Club Chairman, Daniel Levy.
