We now need you to help us ensure the success of this application so that we can move forward with the building of a facility vital to the Club’s ability to compete with Europe’s top Clubs.
As Chairman, Daniel Levy, said in his address at the AGM (25 November 2005): “We continue to invest in the future prosperity of the Club and, as such, a priority is to achieve the successful outcome for the proposed new facility at Bulls Cross, Enfield.
"The site is in an area closely linked to our heritage and the plans represent a prestigious facility for the Club. First class facilities are needed for our first team players, to enable us to attract other quality senior players and, of course, to attract the top young players in the country. I hope and would ask that you all give your support to this vital project."
The plans are currently with Enfield Council, who will make a decision early next year. The Club has already consulted the wider local community and has received a great response.
But there is a small minority campaigning against our plans.
So we still need your help...what can YOU do?
Write letters to Planning Officer Mr DJ Snell and Council leader Cllr Michael Rye
You can help by letting the Council know that you support our planning application. It is especially important if you live in the Borough of Enfield or surrounding areas.
You can do this by writing a letter or e-mailing Enfield Council. A guide to the proposals and some key points you might want to include in your letter are set out for you HERE - however, this is only a guide and personalised letters are welcome.
