Former Spurs trainee John Sutton scored twice as our Europa League opponents Hearts toppled Aberdeen 3-0 on Saturday.

The striker, part of our Academy between 2001-03, scored his first goals for the Edinburgh side, firing them to a first win of the Scottish Premier League campaign.

Arvydas Novikovas gave Hearts a 24th-minute lead with Sutton's double after 35 and 52 minutes securing maximum points for new boss Paulo Sergio.

Hearts kicked-off their SPL season with a draw at champions Rangers but lost to Dundee United and Motherwell before this convincing victory.

We travel to Tynecastle for our Europa League play-of, first leg on Thursday.
