Harry Redknapp is pleased with Kyle Walker's performances this season.
The flying full-back has impressed in his six matches so far this term as he tries to make the right-back spot his own.
Kyle was the only player to start all three matches in the space of eight days a fortnight ago having played against Wolves, travelled out to Greece to face PAOK and then back for the fine 3-0 win against Liverpool - three matches and three clean sheets for the defence.
He was rested for the Carling Cup tie at Stoke but back with another positive performance at Wigan, his bursts forward one of the features of our dominant first half display in the 2-1 win at the DW.
"He's a great athlete, lightning quick and strong," said Harry.
"He's still learning the game, there are still little bits and pieces defensively he can improve on but he's only a young lad and he will improve.
"His pace is frightening and he does a great job for us both offensively and defensively. We've spoken about a few defensive things he needs to work on, but he will do that.
"He's a great lad who wants to learn and certainly has all the attributes to become a great right-back."
