Harry Kane is determined to pick up where he left off at the end of the season when he steps back into the international arena with England Under-21s tonight.

The young striker made his first team breakthrough in 2013-14, marking his first Premier League start with his first Premier League goal against Sunderland on April 7.

That sparked a run of three goals in three games as the Academy graduate ended with 19 appearances for us in 2013-14 including eight starts and four goals.

Harry joined up with the Under-21s last week to start preparations for tonight's UEFA U21 European Championship qualifying match against Wales at Swansea's Liberty Stadium.

From there, he'll travel with the majority of the squad for the prestigious Under-20 Toulon Tournament, where England take on Brazil, South Korea and Columbia.

"I’ve had one start for the Under-21s over the course of the season and scored a hat-trick so I’m hoping with my form at the end of the Premier League to get another start and hopefully score some more goals," said Harry. "That's the aim.

"It was fantastic to feature in the team at the end of the season and a proud moment to score my first goals in the Premier League."

The Young Lions top Group One of qualifying for the 2015 Euro finals, and Harry expects a tough test against Wales who currently sit third but have won three of four at home so far.

"Wales made it tough for us last time, we got the 1-0 but they caught us on the counter a couple of times, so we have to be wary of that," Harry added to thefa.com this week.

"We know if we play to the cability that we know we have then we’ll be looking to get the result.”
