Harry Redknapp will be honoured at the HMV Football Extravaganza in February with their Lifetime Achievement Award to celebrate his career.
Harry is one of the most highly-regarded and respected names in English football, with a successful managerial career that has spanned 25 years.
Past winners of this prestigious award include Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Bobby Robson, Sir Stanley Matthews and Denis Law.
The HMV Football Extravaganza is beginning its 14th year of football and fund-raising, with its annual dinner being held on Tuesday 3rd February at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
The HMV Football Extravaganza has so far raised over £3.5million for Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy, and once again, all proceeds from the evening are in aid of Nordoff-Robbins - an organisation that initiated the use of music as a therapeutic tool in building relationships and communications with severely disturbed and traumatised children and adults. Nordoff-Robbins is now the largest music therapy charity in the UK and is recognised throughout the world as a powerful force for transforming lives.
The HMV Football Extravaganza dinner is the longest running annual charity football event and is the firmly established diary date within the football and music industry. Presented by Sky Sports' Richard Keys, it is loyally and regularly supported by a host of football stars each year and the events official Patrons are Tony Adams, Sir Bobby Charlton, Alan Curbishley, Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Bobby Robson, Kenny Dalglish, Denis Law and Alan Shearer.
Over 1,000 key players from the music, media, radio and television industry will once again be attending to pay tribute to the beautiful game while hopefully raising in excess of £500,000 for NRMT.
