Striker Harry, 23, missed the last round of internationals after suffering an ankle injury in our 1-0 win over Sunderland on September 18, but will be hoping to feature as Gareth Southgate’s side take on neighbours and rivals Scotland in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at Wembley on Friday (November 11) before hosting Spain at the national stadium in a friendly on Tuesday, November 15.
Eric, Danny and Kyle have been regulars in the senior England set-up throughout 2016 along with Dele Alli, but the latter misses out this time after also missing today’s 1-1 draw with the Gunners.
Elsewhere, midfielder Harry Winks has been rewarded for his impressive performances so far this season with a first call-up to the England Under-21s squad for their home match against Italy on Thursday night, followed by a trip to Paris to take on France next Monday. Harry has previously won caps at all levels between Under-17 and Under-20.
In addition, Josh Onomah and Kyle Walker-Peters will head to South Korea with England Under-20s for the Continental Cup this week, where they’ll play matches against Nigeria, the host nation and Iran.
Young defenders Jaden Brown, Jon Dinzeyi and Japhet Tanganga, meanwhile, have been named in the England Under-18s squad for home matches against Poland on Thursday and France next Monday. The Poland game takes place on familiar territory for our academy lads – Stevenage’s Lamex Stadium, where many of our home matches in the Premier League 2 are played. Tickets cost £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions and are available now via Stevenage FC’s ticketing website.
