Spanish lessons for Harry!

Fri 15 September 2017, 06:10|Tottenham Hotspur

When Fernando Llorente arrived at Spurs on transfer deadline day, he said he was looking forward to adding to his vast experience and learning from the likes of Harry Kane.

As it turns out, that feeling is mutual!

Home-grown striker Harry has hit form this month, scoring twice in our wins over Everton and Borussia Dortmund over the last week.

Replaced by Fernando for the last few minutes against Dortmund as the Spanish international front man was introduced for his debut following his move from Swansea City, Harry spoke of his admiration for the 32-year-old former Juventus and Sevilla marksman and underlined how working with a player of Fernando's experience can only benefit him moving forward.

"Fernando is a fantastic addition," said Harry. "He’s a great guy and a player I can learn a lot from.

"He’s won the World Cup, the Euros, Serie A, the Europa League and it’s great to have that experience in the changing room.

"Just to be able to talk to him is a great learning curve for me."

We take on Fernando's former club at Wembley Stadium, connected by EE, at 5.30pm on Saturday.
