Thu 22 June 2017, 09:57|Tottenham Hotspur

Young players at Bahamas Tottenham Hotspur – one of our three global Super Clubs – got the thrill of a lifetime this week when a certain Harry Kane paid them a surprise visit!

With the Caribbean club, run in partnership with the Albany resort, holding its final training session of the season at Windsor School, striker Harry dropped by to watch their youngsters in action and take part in a special Q&A session.

Players from all age groups between Under-6 and Under-17 got to meet our England striker and Albany Vice President Damien Michelmore beamed: "We’d like to say a huge thank you to Harry Kane from everyone at Bahamas Tottenham Hotspur. Harry was great in taking time to answer the players’ questions and giving them an insight into his life as a Premier League and international footballer. Everyone has commented on how happy and inspired the kids were to meet him and one of our Under-10 players has even removed all of his wall art in his room and hung his newly-signed jersey in its place!”

Bahamas Tottenham Hotspur currently has more than 120 young players registered and will be holding two trial days for boys and girls in September as they look to expand their numbers ahead of the new campaign. A member of our official Global Coaching team is also set to be installed at the club for the whole of next season, in order to implement the coaching methods that have helped bring through the likes of Harry Kane, Harry Winks and Danny Rose at our Academy.

Taking place at Roscow A. L. Davies Soccer Field (RALD), the trials will take place as follows:

Under-14 and Under-17 girls
September 16, 2017, 9am-11am

Under-14 and Under-17 boys
September 23, 2017, 9am-11am and 12pm-2pm

Places are limited so please register your interest now by emailing bahamastottenhamhotspur@windsorprep.com to avoid disappointment.

All Bahamas Tottenham Hotspur teams compete in the Bahamas Football Association leagues, playing and training in the world-famous Spurs kit. They are our third global Super Club, in addition to Tallahassee Tottenham Hotspur in Florida and Tottenham Hotspur East Bay in California, existing as part of a continued drive to help develop the game at grassroots level across the world.
