Harry Redknapp has been delighted with the squad’s work in the warm-weather training camp in Dubai.
With a free weekend and a clear week before the next game at Wolves this Sunday, the players flew out to the UAE last Thursday and have trained at two venues, ‘The Sevens’ Stadium and the Al-Rashid Stadium, home of Al-Ahli FC.
“Everything’s been going okay,” reported Harry. “We’re hoping to get one or two players back to fitness. That’s the key for us.
“We’ve had such a hectic schedule I just thought it would be good to get the players away for five days, just to break it up.
“They’ve trained hard, worked hard and it’s been a good break for them.”
