Leading 2-1 from Friday’s first outing at Wolves’ Molineux Stadium, in which Harry’s second half header cancelled out Croatia’s early opener before Saido Berahino converted a late penalty, the Young Lions are in the driving seat heading into this evening’s clash in Vinkovci.
But not content with trying to protect their slender lead, Harry says England will look to capitalise when the hosts inevitably come looking for a way back into the tie – with away goals potentially a key factor if the match ends all square.
“We’ve got to do the right things,” said the 21-year-old front man. “It will probably start off the same (as the first leg) but obviously they’re going to have to come out and try and get the goal, so it might create a bit of space for us and hopefully we can take the game to them and try to get some goals.
“We want to get a goal out there, cancel their away goal out and hopefully get through.”
