Harry Redknapp is confident Rafa van der Vaart will be fit to face AC Milan on Wednesday - and insisted Gareth Bale has 'every chance' of starting the huge Champions League clash.
Gareth returned to action as a 69th-minute substitute at Wolves on Sunday after being laid low with a back problem since January 22.
And the flying winger was straight into his stride with a couple of typical lung-busting runs down the right flank to create chances in the 3-3 draw at Molineux.
Asked if Gareth would start against Milan if he came through Sunday unscathed, Harry replied: "Yes, there's every chance. He came on and made a big difference. He seems okay. We'll keep our fingers crossed.
"When he came on and started with the ball it was exciting and we've missed that in the last five or six weeks."
Rafa played for 60 minutes in the first leg of our last 16 tie in Milan but missed Blackpool and Wolves with a calf injury.
Asked if he had a chance of facing Milan at the Lane, Harry added: "Yes, I'm hoping he will be fit.
"We'll be positive. We'll play an attacking team. If Lennon's okay we'll play with Lennon and probably Bale and Crouchy's had a fantastic European campaign as well."
