Harry: Bring It On

Harry Redknapp believes the confidence his team are showing at the moment gives us every chance of victory against league leaders Liverpool on Saturday.

The manager has recognised the quality of the opposition posed by Rafa Benitez's side, but also warned the Reds that the spirit in the camp at The Lane is as high as ever.

Harry has witnessed big moments in his career, and he is in no doubt as to the positive impact our stirring fightback from 4-2 down against our biggest rivals Arsenal in midweek could have on our season.

"Liverpool will be tough," said the gaffer. "For them to go to Chelsea last week and win was an unbelievable performance.

"It shows you just how strong they are at the moment, but we're playing well, we're confident, and we're looking forward to it.

"There can be turning points in a season. I had one at Portsmouth a few years ago when Pedro Mendes scored a last minute winner against Manchester City.

"Before then, we'd looked down, but that turned it around and we ended up staying up. Hopefully Wednesday night can be the turning point in our season."

And what impressed Harry most was the team spirit shown on the night not only by our heroes on the pitch, but the entire playing staff in support.

"The lads have been great, and every single one of them has worked hard, and one thing that impressed me was the team spirit after Wednesday, whether they had or hadn't played.

"Everyone was up after that game, and we have to be together as a team. Players will be disappointed if they don't play, but rest assured, everyone will play their part in what is going to be a long hard season."
