Saturday's victory at Ewood Park was our third so far this campaign and, with 11 trips left, takes us to within a win of our away record last season.
Indeed, the best tally of away wins in recent seasons has been five in 1999-00 and 1996-97 while our best in the Premiership was seven wins, eight draws and just three defeats in 1995-96.
We've tasted success at Newcastle, Everton and now Blackburn so far this term and coach Chris is aiming for another away scalp at the City of Manchester Stadium on Saturday.
He said: "We started the season very tight as a unit and one thing we would like to maintain is getting results away from home.
"That's something where we've made good progress from the last few seasons.
"With all due respects to everyone else, you know when you go away to the likes of United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool it's quite a daunting task but apart from five or six clubs, you should feel confident that there are places where you feel you are capable of getting something.
"That never comes easily or cheaply, you need good performances and that's what we got at Blackburn. We now need something similar at Manchester City this weekend."
Chris Hughton believes the ability to continue picking up points on our travels is key to our progress this season.
