Leicester City U17s 3-4 Spurs

Trialist Fola Orilouiske caught the eye as Andy Barcham's late strike bagged the points for our U17s at Leicester City on Saturday.

In a rollercoaster encounter, Jimmy Neighbour's boys trailed 1-0, led 3-1 and were hauled back to 3-3 before Barcham's winner.

A defensive mistake handed City an early lead but Orilouiske's fine one-on-one finish after 27 minutes and Andy Hodges from a corner three minutes later turned the game around.

We looked in charge when Owen Price chased down a lost cause, won the ball and set up Orilouiske for a tap in for his second and a 3-1 lead with 30 minutes remaining.

But the home side charged back and two goals in 10 minutes put them back on level terms.

Not to be denied, Price turned provider again this time for Barcham to clinch it with the fourth goal with only five minutes left.

Coach Jimmy beamed: "We did well in the first half, kept the ball well, created chances but we lost concentration at 3-1 and let them back into it.

"But full credit to the lads, they showed the character to come back again and get that winning goal."

Spurs U17s: Eyre, Lee, Jenkins, Hicks, Hodges, McKenna, Ahmed, O'Hara (Daniels, 80), Orilouiske (Barcham, 74), Price, Francis. Unused subs: Forecast, Welch.
