On came Darren Bent and Jamie O’Hara for Aaron Lennon and, notably, a defender in Michael Dawson after 70 minutes as we committed men forward. Just over 10 minutes later and both substitutes had scored to secure a 2-0 success.
“We have seven games to go and we have to just try and be consistent and to try to win them all, even when we are away from home.,” stated Gus.
“I don’t think we are in a position where we need to be holding out for a result like a 0-0 or something like that.

“There is nothing to lose really. You have to go and try and win games in order to add points to the table and it worked against Portsmouth. Juande was trying to open the game up, it was too close, too difficult, not many chances. We risked it.
“We have to try to win every game now. Like I said before we have no problems in the table - nothing to lose – so just go and try to prove we can win.”
