Gus Poyet is expecting a stern examination of our attacking credentials against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday and explains that it is vital to score first.
While the Baggies have struggled for big wins, they do not often lose big either and are famed for their 1-0 wins - 15 to gain promotion last season. They secured another against Middlesbrough last week to climb out of the bottom three.
Gus knows they will be a difficult side to break down.
"It's tough, it's difficult and I think it'll be important to take control of the game and try and score first," reasoned Gus.
"As soon as you score it will be better and will become more open probably. It's up to us to show we want to win the game from the beginning."
Should an early goal not be the order of the day, will a degree of patience have to come into play?
"Yes, maybe as well, but we need to win this game. It is at home and we need to try and go for everything - while being careful."
