Gus Poyet insists that football fans of whatever club persuasion should enjoy watching Gianfranco Zola play.
The diminutive Italian has been on fire this season and appears to be relishing a new lease of life after struggling for a starting place at Chelsea last season due to the form of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Eidur Gudjohnsen.
But an early season injury to Gudjohnsen and a rare patch of indifferent form from Hasselbaink gave Zola the opportunity to make his mark - one that he has grasped in some style, scoring eight goals so far this term.
"Zola is a great player to watch," purred Gus. With the greatest of respect to everybody, I would like everybody to enjoy seeing Zola on Sunday - if he plays.
"He is the kind of player that makes it worth buying your ticket. If he's Man of the Match on Sunday I don't care - as long as we win!
"He's great. He can change games on his own and with the form he is in now he can score from everywhere. He usually scores great goals, fantastic goals.
"You have to be careful when he's playing not to give away free-kicks around the area because he scores great goals from them. So can Hasselbaink.
"I pleased for him because he didn't enjoy it a lot last year and I see him as being very happy."
