Midfielder Gus could hardly contain his emotions after his last-minute volley earned us a much-deserved point in his first north London derby at the Lane.
His second taste of N17 v N5 is at Highbury tomorrow and Gus revealed: "I've scored three goals for Chelsea at Highbury, two in the Worthington Cup and one last season when we lost 2-1. Why not again? Let's wait and see."
Gus smiles when he recalls that November clash at the Lane.
"It was a special moment because it was Arsenal. As I said afterwards, I'd never played a game like that.
"It was quite difficult to think about the game before because anything you think of, tactics, what football you will play, it all goes within two minutes because of the rivalry on the pitch.
"I thought we were better than them for most of the game and when we went 1-0 down, that was unfair. We scored in the last seconds, got the point back and that was nice."
He is also aware of the task ahead. "Arsenal are flying," he added. "It is difficult to play against them especially with the players they have up front.
"They are capable of scoring three goals in 20 minutes, as they've showed in their last three games. So it's important to start well. But we are confident as well."
Few will forget Gus Poyet's joy after he scored against Arsenal in November - it's a feeling he's known before at Highbury and wants again on Saturday.
