Gus Poyet is typically quick off the mark when quizzed on which Uruguay player fans should keep an eye out for at the World Cup.
With no hesitation Gus named Alvaro 'The Chinaman' Recoba as the player most likely to influence Uruguay's fortunes when they begin their campaign against Denmark on Saturday.
It is reported that the Inter Milan star earns more than any other player in Italy and the 26-year-old favours a free role just behind the strikers.
He featured in 17 of Uruguay's World Cup qualifiers and is feared for his famous long-range shooting ability.
"Recoba - he is the one you have to look at," purred Gus.
"He is well known because he plays for Inter Milan and they lost Serie A at the end, but I think he is going to make a good impression.
"He is a special player with a really, really good left foot - so he can score from everywhere.
"I hope he is going to do alright because Recoba is one of the great chances for Uruguay."
