The midfielder hopes to be back in the squad for the Carling Cup tie having returned to action with his recovering broken wrist protected by a special lightweight cast.
He's scored twice at Highfield Road in five appearances for both ourselves and Chelsea including a goal when we won 2-0 in the FA Cup back in January 2002.
"Yes, I remember that one," recalled Gus. "We went to Coventry in my first season here in the cup, we had a good win, a good performance and I scored as well. That was a good night.
"It's difficult to think only about this game because of the situation we are in but it's football, we are professional footballers and we have to think about this game, win the game and then turn back to the Premiership.
"It's up to us to be strong, to play better, defend better, attack better - the full game. The supporters are waiting for it we want to do it for them as well. We have to be strong."
